In a sporting achievement for the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club in the field of Taekwondo, the club’s players shone brightly in the UAE Open Taekwondo Championship for Juniors and Cadets. This prestigious two-day tournament was held at the Kalba Union Club and featured athletes from various clubs across the UAE. The players from the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club achieved remarkable results, securing a total of three gold medals, highlighting their outstanding performance. They also earned six silver medals, demonstrating their exceptional training and preparation. Furthermore, the club added two bronze medals to their tally, further solidifying their excellence in the various categories of the tournament. Following the tournament, Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, Board Member and Head of the Individual Games Committee at Mleiha Club, expressed his pride in the players' performance and their outstanding achievements. He commended the efforts of the coaches and administrators who contributed to developing the athletes' skills and abilities and supported them throughout the competition. Al Ketbi stated that this accomplishment reflects the dedication and high motivation of the Mleiha Club athletes and underscores their prominent position in the world of sports and in developing young talent in Taekwondo. He pointed out that the Mleiha Club, with the support of the club's board of directors, expects the club to continue to achieve more accomplishments in the future, and is pleased to welcome new talents and develop them to achieve future successes.
