A joyous sporting celebration, imbued with the taste of victory, marked the five-star event organized by Mleiha Sports Club last night in its sports hall to honor the club's youth futsal team for their well-deserved championship win in the third edition of the Youth Futsal League. The celebration was held in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board, and board members Abdullah Salem Al-Khasouni, Vice Chairman and Financial Director, Salem Rashid, and Hamad Tamim, along with the club's family and a large crowd of guests. The event celebrated the players and the administrative and technical staff of the youth futsal team, honoring them in a fitting tribute to this unprecedented achievement. This comes after the team players etched their names in gold in the history of the club, which was founded in 2010, becoming the first team in a team sport to win an official championship. At the beginning of the ceremony, attendees watched a video presentation highlighting the team's journey throughout the league, from its inception to the numerous competitions they faced as they strived to climb to the top of the standings early on. Following this, His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Sports Club, delivered a speech congratulating the players, administrative staff, and technical team of the club's futsal youth team on winning the title. He noted that this achievement was a source of joy for everyone, resulting from the collective effort to create this accomplishment, which adds to the record of the Emirate of Sharjah under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council of the Sharjah Government in supporting sports and athletes. Abdullah Salem Al-Khasouni, Vice Chairman of the Board and Financial Director, also congratulated the players on this sporting achievement and affirmed that it would motivate all the club's teams to continue their excellence. He added that the Board of Directors would spare no effort in supporting the players and club teams to achieve further successes, enter the realm of victories, and ascend to the threshold of recognition and crowning. He indicated that it was time for Mleiha Club to compete strongly in all sports. Subsequently, the Chairman of the Board, accompanied by the Vice Chairman and members of the Board, honored the team's coach, Mohammed Hassan Mohammed, goalkeeping coach, Mahmoud Arabi Ahmed, administrator, Yasser Mohammed, medic, Nabil Bin Sharif, and secretary, Hani Ibrahim Mohammed Rawash, in addition to honoring the players amidst great jubilation. During the celebratory evening, the club's family, including employees, staff, and support groups, were honored for their role and contribution in creating this great achievement for the club.
