The Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club met for the first time after its restructuring, chaired by His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board, and in the presence of all members. During the meeting, he emphasized the club’s commitment to making every effort to serve sports, athletes, and the community of the region.
The Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club held its first meeting at the club's headquarters after its restructuring, chaired by His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board, and attended by all members.
The meeting, which was held on Friday evening at the club's headquarters, began with a speech by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Club, in which he expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for His Highness's great support for sports and athletes in the Emirate of Sharjah, and His Highness's keenness to enable clubs, especially Mleiha Club, to continue their role in embracing children in various sports and preparing players towards excellence and success.
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for issuing a decision to reconstitute the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club.
The members of the Board of Directors then began to agree on the distribution of administrative positions, with Abdullah Salem Saeed Al-Khasouni assuming the position of Vice Chairman of the Board and the duties of Financial Director, Mohammed Awad Ali as Chairman of the Cultural and Community Service Committee, Salem Rashid Hamid Al-Ketbi as Chairman of the Football and Age Groups Committee with the duties of Secretary General, Salem Rashid Khalfan Bin Jarash as Chairman of the Marketing and Investment Committee, Abdul Rahman Muhair Saeed Al-Ketbi as Chairman of the Media and Communication Committee, Rashid Mohammed Rashid Al-Ketbi as Chairman of the Team Games Committee, Hamad Tamimi Al-Khasouni as Chairman of the Individual Games and Talent Development Committee, and Nasser Juma Ali Al-Mahrazi as Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee.
After the distribution of administrative portfolios was completed, Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni congratulated the members of the council on their duties, calling on everyone to exert their utmost efforts to serve sports, athletes, and the community of the region, in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness the Ruler and the follow-up and guidance of the Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler.
Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Sports Council for its follow-up and support of the club, and for its continuous interest in improving the sports system.
