The Municipality of Mleiha organized a workshop on indoor plant cultivation for participants in the Mleiha Club's summer program. The workshop was held yesterday morning at the club's headquarters. This workshop was part of the partnership between the Municipality and the Mleiha Club, aimed at benefiting participants during their summer break, particularly as efforts focus on raising awareness about sustainability in all areas. The workshop, presented by the municipality, aimed to broaden students' interest in agriculture and afforestation, introducing them to indoor gardening skills and plant care methods, based on the positive impact of plants on mental health and their role in improving the environment. Participants received information about indoor plants and how to care for them, planting seedlings and seeds to nurture and propagate them at home and in various locations. The workshop, with its theoretical and practical components, provided sufficient explanations to encourage afforestation, highlight the importance of improving agricultural practices, and connect them to the culture and behavior of future generations. At the end of the workshop, His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Club, presented an award. Thanks and praise to the Municipality of Mleiha for its efforts in making the summer events a success, and for the important workshops provided by the municipality’s staff to the participants, expressing his appreciation for the implementation of that workshop which benefited the attendees with information on how to cultivate, and its importance for the sustainability of the sports environment.
