The second main swimming championship concluded at the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai, with Mleiha Club adding another achievement to its sporting record, highlighting the role of the players, coaching staff, and management in this success. The club achieved a remarkable feat by winning the "Team Cup" category, showcasing outstanding performances and demonstrating the team's superiority. The club's brilliance wasn't limited to this achievement; its players also achieved outstanding results in the individual categories. Salem Tamim Al Ketbi, a club icon, won a gold and a bronze medal, while Hamid Saeed Al Khasouni Al Ketbi secured a bronze medal. The success wasn't confined to these athletes, as Adam Mohammed Taha excelled by winning three gold medals, and Suleiman Khader earned two silver medals. These results highlight the club's role as one of the leading clubs in the Emirate of Sharjah, supporting generations of athletes and reaffirming its commitment to nurturing and developing young talent across various sports. This strengthens the club's position as a distinguished sports center for player development. Commenting on this achievement, Salem Rashid Al Ketbi, Secretary General of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, stated... He said: “This achievement is a result of the dedication and hard work shown by our players and the great support from the board of directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council, in addition to the great attention from the technical and administrative staff.” Al-Ketbi stressed the club’s pride in what the players have achieved and considered it an indication of the team’s strong spirit and readiness to achieve more in the future.
