The Mleiha Club Summer Program reinforced its goals of instilling national identity in its 333 participants. Currently held at its headquarters, the program offers seven engaging and innovative activities that reflect its national aspirations. These activities, presented during the third week of the program, themed "National Identity," focused on fostering patriotism, loyalty to the nation and its leadership, exploring the customs and traditions of the past, and striving for progress and development. The week included a variety of activities designed to complement the program's objectives, while also introducing participants to the history and culture of the United Arab Emirates. These activities included a trip to the Sharjah Aquarium and a visit to the Museum of the Future, offering a glimpse into the future of the UAE. The program also featured workshops on Emirati customs and traditions, allowing participants to learn about these customs and traditions through various interactive sessions. They also learned how to make traditional Emirati clothing, prepare Emirati food, and play Emirati musical instruments, in addition to other workshops that addressed positive thinking. These workshops provided an important space for cultivating patriotism by identifying the nation's priorities and needs in the present and future. The week included a camel riding workshop and the start of a race, which was an opportunity to introduce participants to camel riding as a national and inherited sport. They learned how to control camels and the importance of traditional Emirati sports. The National Identity Program was distinguished by its focus on empowering participants to utilize available materials and transform them into tools that serve the community through their participation in recycling workshops. Participants learned about the importance of recycling through various workshops. They also learned how to recycle different materials and how to create new products from recycled materials that aim to serve the nation.
