As part of the activities marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, the Mleiha Club organized the Mleiha Ramadan Gathering for the second year under the slogan "Meeting and Communication". The forum featured a community lecture titled "Reading: The Key to Reflection," presented by Dr. Mhammed Safi Mosteghanemi, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Arabic Language Academy. The lecture, held at the club's headquarters just before the start of Ramadan, was attended by several prominent figures, including Musbeh Butti Al-Qaidi, Vice Chairman of the Mleiha Municipal Council; Ahmed Salem Awad Humaidi, member of the Sharjah Consultative Council; Rashid Hareb Al-Khasouni, Director of Departments at the Hamdan Heritage Center; Abdulrahman Darwish, Director of Mleiha Youth; Dr. Saeed Bal-Laith Al-Tunaiji, member of the Al-Bustan District Council; and Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Mleiha Club Board of Directors, in addition to board members, club management, coaches, players, and a large audience. During the lecture, Dr. Mosteghanemi addressed the topic of reading as the key to understanding and reflecting on texts, emphasizing the importance of correct reading and writing practice. He stressed that proper reading and knowledge of grammar and syntax are fundamental to understanding texts correctly. Furthermore, he emphasized... Dr. Safi Mosteghanemi emphasized the importance of reading beneficial books and memorizing Arabic poetry as tools for developing knowledge and general culture. He pointed out that reading beneficial books broadens horizons of understanding and enhances general culture, thus contributing to individual development and the cultivation of intellectual and creative abilities. He also stressed the importance of memorizing Arabic poetry, especially the works of great poets and national poets, as it reflects heritage and cultural identity, enriches the Arabic language, and preserves our rich and diverse literary heritage. Dr. Mosteghanemi concluded his lecture by emphasizing the importance of enjoying reading and reflecting on divine texts during the holy month of Ramadan, noting that reading is the foundation for achieving intellectual and spiritual excellence. He stated that a truly blessed nation is one that finds joy in reading the Holy Quran, the Prophetic traditions, and classical Arabic poetry, highlighting the importance of improving writing and expression skills for the advancement of both the individual and society.
