Players from the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club won nine medals of various colors in their participation, which was praised, within the events of the Sharjah Elite Future Championship, which was dedicated to the sport of Taekwondo, following a remarkable progress.
The club participated with nineteen players, winning nine medals, including four silver and five silver medals, in the junior categories (boys' cadets and juniors, and girls' cadets and juniors), held at the Sharjah University Student Sports Complex. Salem Rashid Al Ketbi, Secretary General of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, emphasized the importance of this significant participation for the club's young players, both boys and girls, across all age groups. He noted that this participation is a crucial step in the club's efforts to develop its athletes and prepare them for future competitions. He added that the club's vision aligns with that of the Sharjah Sports Council, which focuses on participating in all championships and supporting the club's members across all age groups. This allows them to benefit from practicing the various sports available at the club, ensuring their continued development and success. Al Ketbi affirmed that the club is proud of the achievements of its taekwondo players and the medals they won in this outstanding and successful tournament organized by the University of Sharjah.
