The Media Committee of Mleiha Sports Club discussed various aspects of media coverage across all media outlets and explored the mechanisms for preparing for media coverage of the club’s events during 2022 AD in all its aspects, including press, radio and television, and the use of all media outlets and social media channels.
This came during the committee’s meeting yesterday evening at the club’s headquarters, as it concluded its work for the year 2021. The meeting was chaired by Mohammed Awad Al-Ketbi, Chairman of the Media and Communication Committee of the club and member of the board of directors of Mleiha Club.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi praised the cooperation of all media institutions with the Mleiha Club and their effective role in conveying the club’s sporting, cultural and social events, stressing that all media outlets are partners of the club in its successes and activities. He conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors, to the Media Committee and to all local media institutions in the country for their significant roles in highlighting the club as a sports institution with weight and presence on the sports scene of the Emirate of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates.
The committee then discussed its agenda and the achievements it had made in media coverage and monitoring of all the club’s activities and participations inside and outside the club, and working to inform the community of all its work and its keenness to ensure the success of its sports system, in accordance with the strategy of the Sharjah Sports Council of the Sharjah government.
Various media-related topics were discussed concerning preparations for media coverage of the club's events during 2022, including all sporting activities, as well as cultural and social activities and board meetings.
The meeting addressed the vision statement of the Media Committee and its roles in highlighting the significant role of the club’s games and activities, in addition to showcasing the club’s media identity through social media and continuing media coverage and live broadcasting of matches on social media to create an audience for the club by watching the club’s matches moment by moment.
The meeting addressed developing cooperation with all media institutions to ensure continued coverage of sporting events, cultural and community events, and cooperation with the Mleiha region community through media coverage of the region’s events.
