Players from the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club won 4 colored medals in the Fujairah International Open Taekwondo Championship (G2), which was held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Zayed Sports Complex in the Emirate of Fujairah, within the junior category competitions.
The medals were won by players Salem Suhail Salem Salim Al Ameri, Mohammed Mustafa Saad Hilal, and Yousef Saeed Mohammed Al Shehhi, who won bronze medals, while player Abdulrahman Juma Ghanem Al Falasi won the silver medal, confirming the club’s players’ distinguished presence in a strong international ranking tournament.
For his part, Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, a member of the board of directors of Mleiha Club and head of the individual games committee, expressed his pride in this achievement, stressing that the results reflect the advanced level of the club’s players and the result of continuous technical and administrative work, noting that participation in international tournaments classified as G2 contributes to honing the players’ skills and preparing them for stronger competitions in the future.
