Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club continued its brilliance in the 2026 Competitive Swimming Championship, which was held as part of the Swimming Cup Championships series for the 2025–2026 season at the Hamdan Sports Complex swimming pool in Dubai, from January 31 to February 1, 2026, with the participation of an elite group of clubs from the country.
The participation of the Mleiha Club resulted in winning 27 medals of various colors, including 10 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals, in an achievement that reflects the great development that swimming is witnessing at the club, and the high readiness of the players in various age groups.
In a statement, His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Khusouni Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, expressed his pride in this achievement, stressing that the results were the fruit of institutional work and sound planning, and said:
“We are proud of what the players of Mleiha Club achieved in the 2026 Competitive Swimming Championship. This achievement reflects the level of commitment and discipline, and confirms the success of the technical plans adopted to develop individual sports. We will continue our full support for our players, and provide them with the appropriate environment to achieve more achievements and raise the name of the club in various championships.”
He added that these results represent an incentive to continue working and building on what has been achieved, in preparation for the upcoming challenges.
