The “Maliha” Club inaugurated its summer activities as part of the Sharjah Sports Council’s activities, which will be held over four weeks under the slogan “Our vacation is different”.
The events launched at the club headquarters provide an opportunity for students (children and youth) to benefit from programs that promote the participants’ positivity and help them spend their free time in distinguished activities and programs that enhance national identity, develop skills, and benefit from field experiences in raising the level of capabilities, as well as introducing the Emirate of Sharjah and its tourist sites.
The Chairman of the Cultural Committee, Board Member and Chairman of the Summer Activity Organizing Committee, Abdullah Balajid Al-Ketbi, accompanied by Nasser Al-Mahrazi, Board Member and Supervisor of the General Summer Activity, inaugurated the summer activity and welcomed the participants who came in large numbers and expressed their welcome to them.
During the opening, the cultural and sports programs that will be implemented during the summer activity weeks, according to the Sharjah Sports Council’s plan, were reviewed, in addition to presenting the programs, visits, and workshops, as well as the various sports courses and tournaments that will be implemented throughout the events period at the club’s headquarters in cooperation with a number of different institutions.
Abdullah Balajid Al-Ketbi pointed out that the summer activity of the “Maliha” club is rich with many sports, cultural, social and recreational programs that contribute to promoting the highest levels of community partnership, in order to achieve the desired benefits for the participants from the people of the Maliha region and neighboring areas.
