The Mleiha Cultural, Sports and Cultural Club concluded its virtual camp activities, entitled the Mleiha Virtual Club Camp, after it was held over five consecutive days under the slogan "Invest your time".
The camp, which concluded on the evening of December 30th, is one of the unique programs offered through electronic communication via the Room platform, with the aim of benefiting the community from the daily activities implemented under the auspices of the Sharjah Sports Council of the Sharjah Government, in cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command and the Sharjah Scouts Commission.
Through its quality partnerships, the club dedicated important topics in a number of subjects that attracted members of the community, families, as well as youth and young people to learn from them, as the first day of the camp was dedicated to discussing the topic of volunteering in community service.
The second day was dedicated to providing participants with first aid skills and basics, while the third day was dedicated to the topic of the electronic tiger.
The fourth day of the Mleiha Virtual Camp was dedicated to the principles of camping, and the camp concluded with a scout workshop on COVID-19 prevention, in addition to a general cultural competition.
The camp's activities were distinguished by high-quality and broad public participation from all segments of society, and participation certificates were distributed to attendees.
In this regard, His Excellency Abdullah Al-Badaid Al-Ketbi, Board Member of the Mleiha Sports and Cultural Club and Chairman of the Cultural and Community Service Committee, explained the importance of holding the Mleiha Club Virtual Camp, which met with the goals of the Sharjah Sports Council, the Sharjah Police General Command and the Sharjah Scouts in providing a set of goals and programs that benefited the community by making them available through electronic communication due to the Corona pandemic.
He expressed the club’s pride in this organization as the last event of 2020, which was a great success and benefited the community with its diverse activities, which were prepared early to provide doses of culture and knowledge in the various events that were carried out over five consecutive days, noting that through this camp, the Mleiha Club continues its role as a sports institution that has a great interest in the cultural and social dimension and is keen to serve the system of common goals to benefit everyone.
