The Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club hosted a specialized introductory workshop on developing advanced training plans for coaches of various age groups in different sports. The workshop was presented by renowned experts from the Sharjah Sports Council, with the aim of enhancing training standards and achieving optimal results in developing players' skills. The workshop was led by Walid Mashhout, a volleyball expert from the Sharjah Sports Council, and Imad Othman, a basketball expert. The workshop included a variety of presentations and interactive sessions covering different aspects of preparing comprehensive training plans. It saw wide participation from coaches of team sports across all age groups from the Mleiha Club, facilitating the exchange of experiences and knowledge among the coaches. This exchange broadened their perspectives and encouraged the use of innovative training methods to develop players' skills. Furthermore, the participating coaches demonstrated significant enthusiasm for acquiring more knowledge and skills in player development across all age groups. The workshop highlighted the latest training methods and techniques in volleyball, basketball, and handball, and discussed the best ways to improve training quality and the overall development of athletic performance in all age groups. In his remarks, Waleed Mashhout, a volleyball expert from the Sharjah Sports Council, expressed his pleasure at participating in the workshop and emphasized the importance of providing support and guidance to coaches of age groups in sports clubs, as they play a crucial role in developing the talents of young players and achieving future success. For his part, Emad Othman, a basketball expert, stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and knowledge among coaches and raising the level of sports training in the emirate, noting that providing a suitable training environment is key to this goal. By motivating, supporting, and providing knowledge, this workshop will have a positive impact on the development of young sporting talents. At the end of the workshop, Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Club, expressed Mleiha Club's thanks to the Sharjah Sports Council and appreciation to the participating experts for presenting this valuable workshop, and stressed the club's commitment to providing more training and development opportunities for sports coaches to raise the level of sporting performance within the club's system.
