Maliha Sports Club enhances the Quality Year of the Sharjah Sports Council in its success in obtaining the "ISO" specification in the Quality Management System 9001

The Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club has successfully obtained the ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification after meeting all its requirements, in line with the Sharjah Sports Council's Year of Quality initiative. This achievement reinforces the club's commitment to fulfilling the Sharjah Sports Council's plans and objectives for achieving comprehensive quality, as outlined in this standard. This will elevate the club's sports system and enhance its operations, contributing to the development of its foundations and fostering the advancement of sports while also improving the efficiency of its administrative and technical staff. The club's attainment of this quality management system certification is a remarkable first this year, following an audit and review by the internationally accredited certification body. This success reflects the club's ongoing commitment and the Board of Directors' dedication to implementing all practical procedures and adhering to administrative systems related to global best practices, comprehensive organizational policies and procedures, and governance of sports performance. This achievement represents a new milestone and underscores the club's commitment to implementing strategic plans, instilling a culture of quality among its employees, and applying integrated management systems to strengthen the club's vision, mission, and strategic objectives. His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, confirmed this. The year 2021 was designated the Year of Quality for the Sharjah Sports Council, enabling it to implement its strategy in this area based on the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Executive Council. Therefore, the club, in line with the directions and objectives of this year, strived with all its staff and operations to comply with the quality system. The efforts of the Mleiha Club's Board of Directors, along with all employees, players, and staff, were combined to pass the audit of the quality management system requirements and adhere to the pre-established plans to meet international certification procedures. This was achieved after fulfilling all the requirements and standards of the standard specification, in addition to an administrative review of the committees' objectives and the club's operational plans. Furthermore, an internal audit was conducted to ensure the accuracy of all work procedures and administrative forms, and a SWOT analysis was performed for all relevant committees and departments of the Mleiha Club. Al Khasouni emphasized the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club's commitment to applying the highest standards of institutional and administrative excellence and the quality management system, stemming from the plans and directives of the Sharjah Sports Council, headed by His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, and in line with the club's strategy aimed at improving its work system.
