Yesterday morning, the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club organized a distinguished training course entitled "Sports Etiquette and Protocol," in cooperation with the Happy Hall Vocational Training Foundation. The course was presented by the prominent lecturer, Dr. Saeed Balith Al-Tunaiji, who lent the event an academic and professional character. This course is one of the sporting and cultural initiatives undertaken by the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club to develop the skills of its members and raise their awareness of the importance of behaving with propriety and respecting protocol in various sporting and everyday situations. The course was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, several board members, and numerous club staff and members. The course covered a range of important and beneficial topics addressing various aspects of etiquette and protocol within the sporting context. These topics were varied, encompassing the principles of proper conduct and etiquette when interacting with others. Emphasis was placed on the importance of respectful and appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues, players, fans, and the media. The course covered how to express respect and appreciation, and how to interact with the media and fans professionally and appropriately. This included highlighting how to engage with the media and fans at sporting events, and how to speak and act in a way that reflects respect for the audience and the professionalism of the players. In addition to the importance of civilized sportsmanship, the course addressed its significant role in building positive interpersonal relationships and enhancing communication and understanding between teams and individuals. The course also covered sports protocol, addressing the rules and regulations of protocol at sporting events and activities, such as award ceremonies and meetings between coaches and teams. Attendees expressed their great admiration for the course's quality and its positive impact on developing their skills in dealing with key aspects of sports etiquette and protocol. They also commended the club's efforts in providing training activities aimed at raising awareness and knowledge among community members.
