Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club concluded its participation in the third stage of the Emirates Archery League with remarkable results, reflecting the great development that the game of archery is witnessing at the club, within the competitions of the 2025-2026 sports season.
The junior team secured first place and the gold medal (team), thanks to an outstanding performance by players Khalid Ismail, Ghaith Ali Al-Dosari, and Abdulrahman Al-Mannai, confirming the team's worthiness and ability to compete at the highest levels. The cubs team also succeeded in winning third place and the bronze medal (team), with the participation of players Saif Yasser, Ali Al-Mannai, and Omar Abdulbasit.
In the individual competitions, the players of Mleiha continued their brilliance, as player Ghaith Ali Al-Dosari achieved second place and the silver medal in the under 15 years category (compound bow), while player Waleed Adam Omar won first place and the gold medal in the junior category (recurve bow), in an achievement that reflects the strength of the age group base in the club.
Thus, at the end of the third stage, the Mleiha Club's tally reached 4 gold medals, 3 bronze medals, and one silver medal, in a new confirmation of the excellence of its players and the good technical and administrative preparation.
Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, Board Member and Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, praised the results achieved by the players, stressing that this achievement reflects the fruit of continuous work and sound planning within the club. He said that what was achieved in the UAE Archery League represents a strong incentive to continue developing players, honing promising talents, and preparing them to compete in upcoming championships.
He added that the Mleiha Club pays great attention to individual sports, based on its belief in their role in creating champions and supplying national teams with talents capable of representing the country in local and international competitions, noting that the next stage will witness more preparation and qualification programs to ensure the sustainability of achievements.
This achievement is part of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club's strategy aimed at supporting high-quality sports, enhancing the club's presence in various championships, and consolidating its position as one of the clubs supporting sporting talents in the Emirate of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates.
