Mleiha Club concluded its summer activities after achieving many national goals and positive returns for its members, and formed an ideal platform to provide enjoyable, educational, cultural, sports and recreational experiences for young people, teenagers and children of all ages.
The Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club successfully concluded its summer activities, which lasted throughout July and the beginning of August, after achieving many national goals and positive returns, which positively affected the members, and formed an ideal platform to provide enjoyable, educational, cultural, sports and recreational experiences for young people, adolescents and children of all ages.
The club hosted a diverse series of events and activities that were widely attended by its 333 members, who participated in numerous creative workshops, awareness seminars, various sports activities, and exciting competitions.
The closing ceremony, which was held at the club’s headquarters yesterday morning, was attended by Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board, Musab Butti Al-Qaidi, member of the Municipal Council of the Mleiha region, a delegation from the Sharjah Sports Council headed by Ahmed Al-Salman, Chairman of the Supervision and Follow-up Committee, Mohammed Shalash, Mohammed Salah, and lecturer Dr. Saeed Bal-Laith Al-Tunaiji, in addition to the organizers and their parents.
After reciting fragrant verses from the Holy Quran, Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni expressed the club's family's happiness with the achievements made during this enjoyable period, and appreciated the efforts of everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this program full of diverse activities, which were in line with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
Al-Khasouni affirmed that the activities will continue throughout the year, through the presentation of a diverse range of events and programs with a clear and ambitious vision that meets the aspirations of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and strengthens ties with children and youth, calling on sons and daughters to participate so that the club becomes a home for all generations.
For their part, the members expressed their gratitude to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for his constant support and for providing activities that enhance their expertise by raising the hashtag “Thank you, Baba Sultan.” The greeting to His Highness included an emphasis on the club’s participation in the Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi Award for Sports Excellence, and they raised slogans that support the award’s directions and outcomes.
At the end of the closing ceremony of the Mleiha Summer Club, outstanding participants, supporters, and those who contributed to the events were honored and their efforts were commended.
