The organizing committee for the summer activity at the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club held a coordination meeting to discuss preparations for launching the summer activity program for 2026, which will be held from July 6 to 30, as part of the club’s efforts to provide quality programs targeting children and youth during the summer vacation.
The meeting was attended by Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, Board Member of Mleiha Club and Chairman of the Summer Activity Organizing Committee, Abdulrahman Muhair Al Ketbi, Board Member and Chairman of the Media and Corporate Communication Committee, Mansour Rashid Al Ketbi, Executive Director of the Club, along with the work team and the organizing committees supervising the program.
The meeting reviewed the main themes of this year’s summer activity, which are spread over four specialized weeks including: “Family”, “Artificial Intelligence”, “Sharjah”, and “Sports”, reflecting the club’s keenness to provide diverse content that combines cultural, educational, sports and technical aspects, and keeps pace with the trends of society and the interests of emerging generations.
The committee also discussed the schedule of events, workshops and programs proposed for each week, the mechanisms for implementation and coordination between the various committees, in addition to reviewing the organizational and administrative aspects and work plans, in order to ensure the highest levels of quality and excellence in the implementation of the program.
The attendees stressed the importance of providing an attractive and safe environment for participants, which contributes to investing their free time positively, developing their skills and abilities, and enhancing their values ​​of belonging, responsibility, and teamwork.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Mohammed Awad Al-Ketbi, Board Member of Mleiha Club and Chairman of the Summer Activity Organizing Committee, affirmed that the club is continuing its intensive preparations to launch a distinguished edition of the summer program, noting that work is proceeding according to an integrated plan that focuses on the diversity of content and the quality of implementation in order to benefit the participants.
Al-Ketbi said: “Through the 2026 summer program, we aim to provide innovative programs that combine knowledge, entertainment, and skills development, contributing to the positive investment of children and youth during the summer vacation. This year, we were keen to select diverse themes that meet the interests of the participants and keep pace with modern developments, especially in the fields of artificial intelligence, national identity, sports, and family, thus enhancing the club’s role in serving the community and creating a conscious and creative generation.”
This meeting is part of a series of preparatory meetings held by the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club in preparation for the launch of summer activities, confirming its commitment to providing purposeful community programs that contribute to developing the capabilities of participants and consolidating its role as a leading sports and cultural institution in serving the community.
