In a proactive sporting move, Al-Maliha Sports Club signed a contract this Saturday afternoon with national coach Bader Al-Zarouni as the technical director of the futsal sector, in order to raise the team’s readiness for the sports season and the club’s vision to achieve outstanding results.
This came after the club's board of directors dismissed Brazilian coach Ramon Diego last night, following the match between Mleiha and Al Bataeh, due to the results that did not satisfy the team or the club's fans.
His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, signed with Emirati coach Bader Al-Zarouni for two seasons starting from the current season to lead the team towards the hopes placed on it, under the sponsorship of Khansaheb Group.
Al-Zarouni was chosen again after his previous success with the club for four seasons in leading the futsal team, and the need for his services during this period.
Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni confirmed that signing with Captain Bader Al-Zarouni came at the right time, especially since we are still at the beginning of the sports season and he is the most capable at present to continue his efforts with the team, given Al-Zarouni’s high sporting competence, numerous achievements, high morals and long experience in managing and training the team.
He added that the Mleiha Club family is happy to have Al-Zarouni back as one of the club’s family, and stressed the importance of his continued presence within the distinguished technical staff of the Mleiha Club, his experience in managing the team, and his sporting sense to keep up with the futsal league.
Al-Khasouni pointed out that the club and its fans are counting on Al-Zarouni to lead the futsal team in the new 2020-2021 season, in addition to the next season, to bring back outstanding results with the club, given his extensive experience in the local league and the convergence of goals to achieve a distinguished sports season for the club and futsal in the current sports journey.
For his part, coach Bader Al Zarouni confirmed his happiness at returning to coach the futsal team of the Mleiha Club and indicated his conviction of the importance of the next stage and the club’s need to achieve advanced results, noting that he is happy with this confidence from the board of directors of the Mleiha Club and with the great support provided by His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and his great strengthening of the team.
Al-Zarouni explained that his current mission this time is different as it represents the completion of an important journey to achieve accomplishments and continue preparing the team for competition. He hoped to fulfill the ambitions of the Mleiha Club and to live up to the expectations and trust of the club's board of directors.
