Mleiha Sports Club has launched its summer program under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council of the Sharjah Government, with the slogan "Your vacation is different," which will continue throughout August remotely, and will offer many competitions, workshops, fitness training, virtual tours, and a course on reciting the Quran.

Amidst a great flurry of sporting events and diverse programs that received great interaction and initiative from students to participate, the Mleiha Sports Club launched its summer program under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council of the Sharjah Government, under the slogan "Your vacation is different".
In line with its vision to prepare a distinguished generation, the club is proposing to organize dozens of activities and programs, which it will organize remotely throughout the month of August due to current precautions against the Coronavirus, and which will accommodate emerging and young people to participate in its programs.
The summer program offers numerous competitions, courses and workshops, as well as fitness training sessions, virtual tours to a number of vital sites in the country, in addition to a Quran recitation course as part of the summer activity in cooperation with the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and Sunnah in Sharjah.
The club organized a workshop on common spelling mistakes via Zoom, presented by Dr. Essam Farouk, amidst great response and interaction from the students. A family cultural competition was also launched, where family members gather around the table of culture, and the competition takes place via Zoom on a weekly basis, with each week having a new theme.
The competition, titled "Personalities from the Emirates," began this week. The competition questions revolved around Emirati personalities in all fields: political, sports, volunteering, artistic, cultural, and scientific. 76 families participated, and at the end of the competition, the five families who won the top positions were honored.
