The players of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club achieved a remarkable accomplishment in the Laser Run Federation Championship, which was held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Al Bataeh Club grounds, after they won 24 colored medals, including 12 gold, 10 silver, and 2 bronze medals, in addition to 3 first-place cups in the under 9, 11, and 13 age groups.
The results reflected the remarkable superiority of the club’s players in various age groups, as the under 9, 11 and 13 age groups were crowned with first place cups, in addition to a series of medals in team and individual competitions, while the under 15 and 17 age groups strengthened the club’s tally with a number of silver and bronze medals, in a participation that confirmed the strength of the sports base and its age progression.
This achievement comes as an extension of the pivotal role the club plays in supporting individual sports, through providing specialized training programs, attracting qualified technical staff, and creating a stimulating competitive environment that contributes to honing players’ skills from early age, in addition to continuous monitoring and long-term planning to build a generation of athletes capable of representing the club in various forums.
Hamad Tamim Al Ketbi, Board Member and Chairman of the Individual Games Committee, affirmed that what has been achieved is the result of organized institutional work, noting that “the club’s management pays great attention to individual games as a fundamental pillar in the sports excellence strategy, and the results achieved today reflect the extent of the efforts made by the technical and administrative staff and parents, and we continue to support our children to achieve more accomplishments and raise the name of Mleiha Club high.”
