333 participants enjoyed a diverse range of activities at the conclusion of the second week of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club's summer program, themed "Here is Sharjah," as part of the "Our Vacation is Different" initiative. The "Here is Sharjah" week, as its name suggests, featured a variety of events and workshops, building on the success of the program since its launch. These included a visit to the Mleiha Archaeological Centre, where participants learned about the history of Mleiha and the surrounding areas, exploring the various historical periods that have shaped the region. In addition, diverse workshops were held in collaboration with the Mleiha Municipality, Bee'ah, the Department of Social Services, and the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and Sunnah. These workshops aimed to familiarize participants with prominent sites in the Emirate of Sharjah and to highlight the roles of various institutions in serving the community. Participants engaged in these programs throughout the second week, participating in activities that fostered positive interaction skills, promoted public health, included drawing, and involved agricultural activities, as well as focusing on physical fitness. Abdullah Salem Al-Khasouni Al-Ketbi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, confirmed that the second week of the Mleiha Summer Program, themed "Here is Sharjah," achieved great success. The large turnout, in addition to the number of events that were offered and organized with the aim of entertaining the participants and providing them with information about Sharjah in all fields. The club explained that, within the framework of its summer activities, it sought to confirm and enhance integration between national institutions in the field of socialization and youth care and public services, in order to ensure the real benefit from the activities and programs it organizes, which has a profound impact on instilling positive values and a spirit of patriotism among them. Perhaps we can see this in the continuous attention and direct care for these courses and the support and follow-up from the highest levels in the Emirate of Sharjah, to achieve summer enjoyment for the participants in the momentum and remarkable diversity of these events.
