Maliha Sports Club achieved a great sporting achievement in the second preparatory swimming championship of the Sharjah Sports Council for the year 2024, as the team won 16 colored medals and the third place cup.

In the ceremony organized by the Sharjah Sports Council this morning, Maliha Club won first place among the clubs of the Emirate of Sharjah, in recognition of its great success in organizing the events of the Sharjah Sports Summer 2024. The award was received by Abdul Rahman Muhair, Member of the Board of Directors and Head of the Media and Communications Committee.

Sultan Ali Saif Ali Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Maliha, visited the Maliha Club men’s handball team at its training headquarters in the Maliha Club Hall on Thursday evening.

As part of its commitment to supporting talents and enhancing the role of parents in the players’ careers, Maliha Club held a special honoring ceremony for its distinguished players who recently returned from the Bosnia Volleyball Camp.

Maliha Cultural and Sports Club concluded the activities of the Sharjah Summer Sports Program, which lasted for a whole month, under the slogan “Our Vacation is Different”. The program witnessed a remarkable diversity of activities and events over the course of five weeks, which attracted a large number of participants of different ages.

Today, Wednesday, Maliha Cultural and Sports Club received the international “Best Work Environment” certificate from the American Great Place to Work organization, after meeting the requirements of the internal work environment and excellence aimed at upgrading human cadres.

His Excellency Jassim Al Hammadi, Secretary General of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, and Ahmed Al Salman, Chairman of the Supervision and Follow-up Committee at the Sharjah Sports Council, inaugurated the activities of the “I am a Volunteer” week at the Maliha Sports Club, as part of the Sharjah Sports Summer Initiative held under the slogan “Our Vacation is Different.”

With the success of its initiatives, Maliha Sports Club concluded the Sustainability Week within the activities of Sharjah Sports Summer, as it implemented a series of courses, workshops and activities that contribute to enhancing values and skills in diverse and sustainable ways, as they continued throughout the week, at its headquarters in the Maliha Club.

On Tuesday, Sharjah Islamic Bank organized a workshop at Maliha Cultural and Sports Club for those participating in the summer activity, entitled “Sustainability for Emerging Investors,” presented by Hassan Al Balgouni, Director of Corporate Communications at the bank, in the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Khasouni Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Maliha Club.

Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, in cooperation with the Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Animal Wealth, organized a workshop entitled “Wheat Cultivation: Seven Ears” for members of the Sharjah Sports Summer, as part of the Sustainability Week activities. The workshop aimed to teach participants the best practices in wheat cultivation and raise awareness of the importance of sustainability in agriculture.
